An interesting and innovative project this week involved designing and installing a solar powered sign lighting system for Lee’s Famous Recipe in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. The system is designed to collect electrons during the day, battery bank the power, and light the sign both top and bottom at night. This is a clean energy alternative and more cost effective than digging up old electrical lines under the parking lot that needed repair.
Special thanks to Lee’s Famous Recipe in Lawrenceburg for calling on Wilderness Trace Solar to provide this solution! Check out their sign – and while you’re there pick up some chicken for dinner tonight!
